Recruiters

If you would like to write a financial jobs blog that might really help someone find the right position, then you could not go wrong by writing about the A. E. Feldman Associates Inc. AEF is a service that was established in 1967 to help find the right recruit for the right job. Their high standards of service to both the client and the candidate has made them so successful. Each of the recruiters within the firm has had career success in the industries for which they are now recruiting. That means they have a first hand knowledge of the needs of both the company recruiting and the kind of recruit needed for the job.

My Astros Bet

A virtual friend of mine and I made a little blogging bet on the upcoming baseball season. She is a big Cubs fan and I am a huge fan of the Houston Astros. They compete in the Central Division of the National League. Last year we had a writing wager on which team would finish higher in the standings. I ended up having to write an ode praising the Cubbies. This year’s wager is on which team will have the pitcher with the most wins. I am taking Roy Oswalt. She is going with Carlos Zambrano. It should be an iteresting race.

Astros Begin Play

Tomorrow will be a day that rings out loud for me. The Houston Astros will begin play in the Grape Fruit League, the major league spring training exhibition games. They do not count in the standing, they are meant only to prepare the players for the regular season. But for fans like me, tomorrow we can turn on the radio and tune in a baseball game for the first time in five months. Can you hear the crack of the bat?

Rocket In More Trouble

I was not sure how things would turn out after the testimony Roger Clemens gave to the congressional committee earlier this month. I did not think he was perticularly rattled by the questions and I thought the trainer accusing him of using HGH was not very believable. But today the committee has requested the Justice Department to try to determine if Clemens was lying under oath.

Yao Ming Out

Just as the Houston Rockets were making a move in the standing, with twelve wins in a row and a new chemistry that had the team and the community excited, one of their best players and biggest stars went out for the season with a fractured foot. Yao Ming will not be back this season. The rest of the team will have to pick up a big burden if they are to continue the recent success.

Paintball On The Rise

A new paintball place has been opened on the Dickinson side of the road that separates it from League CIty, and it is catching on. There are groups that go try a paintball game as an occasional diversion, but there are many who are becoming regulars who meet to battle on a more serious level. These paintball enthusiasts have bought all the gear needed to participate in packages that save them money. The favorite seems to be the tippmann a-5. The package that costs less than $470, saves almost $400, included that A5 marker, ammo hopper, flatline and standard barrels, gun case, stealth mask, and so much more!

Giants?

I went to services last night. When I entered, the Super Bowl game score was 7-3, New England. I had predicted that the Pats would win 42-26. When I got home I turned the game, the score was still 7-3. I watched the rest of the game and witnessed the outcome. I know the score board read Giants 17, Patriots 14. But I a still not sure the Giants can beat the Pats!
