Bad Fans!

I was at Minute Maid Park last night for the Reds 2-1 defeat of the Astros. I love a low scoring game, so I enjoyed every pitch. I have been a fan of the Houston team since its inception and I can’t quite get over how ignorant the fans in Houston can be at times. When Geoff Geary gave up a homer in the eighth inning last night, I was not pleased about it, but the fans booed the umpires, though the ball was clearly over the yellow line in left center and none of the Astros players were disputing the call.

While I am ranting about that nonsense, I get so irritated at the fans in Houston for doing the wave–so outdated, but to really demonstrate their ignorance of the game, they start the wave when the opponent is at bat! Makes me want to gag!

Losing Sleep Over The Olympics

I have really been enjoying the Olympics. And that is a bit surprising to me because in the days leading up to the games, I was indifferent. I don’t know if it was the Opening Ceremonies or the compelling feats of Michael Phelps that hooked me, but I have been watching a wide range of events late into the night almost every night!

Painless Payday Loans

When I was a young man I often found that my paycheck did not reach all the way to the next payday. Many was the time that I would go by and ask my dad for a small loan to tide me over till I got paid. Fortunately I do not have the problem very often these days, but when an emergency comes up it is easy to obtain a Payday Loan online. It only takes minutes to make complete the process. The money is quickly placed in your account, and repayment is easily done as well! And when I visit Dad he is not worried about having to bail me out.

Two In a Row

THe Houston Astros have won their last two games, both against the New York Mets, in dramatic fashion. Last night Mark Loretta hit a grand slam to break a tie and propel the Astros to the win. Tonight, Geoff Blum got a hit with the bases loaded in the ninth, scoring the two tying runs. Then in the tenth, Darin Erstad got a sacrifice fly to drive in the winning run. Nice Weekend so far!
