I hope the Texans are satisfied with the break even record they achieved for the 2007 season. It left us all wanting more. The team made some progress, evne showed flashes of greatness in some of the young players. There is still lots of work to be done, improved secondary play, a top flight running back, more defensive line ability. But there is the fact that they are no longer losers!

The fans were really pumped up in Houston today. The Houston Texans hosted the Indianapolis Colts in a game today that pitted 2 unbeaten teams against one another. The Texans are trying to become contenders in the AFC, the Colts are the defending Super Bowl Champions. Today the Texans gave the Colts a game of it before falling by a 30-24 score. They were respectable, but they want more now!

I got to watch most of the NFL game between the Houston Texans and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Texans looked better than ever before. They beat the Chiefs and were not just lucky to do so. They controlled the game both on offense and defense Larry Johnson of KC was held to less than fifty yards rushing and the defense scored once for Houston. New quarterback Matt Schaub hooked up with Andre Johnson for a 77 yard TD pass.
