25 & 7 in the First Round

I don’t know how things will turn out for the rest of the NCAA tournament, but my bracket for the first round still looks pretty good. I was correct on 25 of the 32 games, picking a few upsets along the way. The worst miss I made was in picking Butler over LSU, and I missed on Dayton over West Virginia.

But I got the Cleveland State upset over Wake Forest and the Arizona win over Utah. I have CSU beating ‘Zona in the second round but losing to Louisville in the Sweet 16.

How’s Your bracket looking?

UT vs Florida

Well, I had UT playing against Florida in the finals of the NCAA basketball tournament. I meant Texas. They went out in the second round, spanked by Southern Cal. I thought I had no chance in my bracket, but I think there may still be a chance! It is still possible for UT to play the Gators–the Unversity of Tennessee!

Acie Law in the First Round

The Aggies of Texas A&M did win the first round game today against
Penn. And the main reason they won is the reason I leaned on as I predicted them to advance to the Final Four—poised and experienced leadership. When Penn made a big rally in the second half, even taking a lead, Acie Law took control and led the Ags to regain the lead and pull away for a substantial win.

March Madness

March Madness has already begun, with the conference tournaments. But it becomes official today, with the announcements of the brackets and the seedings. For the next three weeks the eyes of the sports world will be fixed on the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

I have no idea which team the EXPERTS will seed as number one overall. But I have little trouble seeing Florida winning again. They were so dominant last year int the tourney and all of them are back for a second run!
