I Am My Own Travel Agent

I have been using the same travel agent for the past two decades. He has become a personal friend as well as an excellent adviser. But he is about to retire and I will have to either find a new agent, or I will have to do my own research and booking on the Internet.

I think that because of all the availability of information on the web, I will be able to become my own agent. I will use web sites like Argus Car Hire for the information I will need to make any car hire Portugal or Spain, or anywhere else I might have to travel in Europe. They have a very easy to use web site and they guarantee the best possible price on a rental car. Whether I am in Lisbon, the capitol city of Portugal, or other locations in the country, Argus has convenient offices that can take car of my needs.

Of course, I want to deal with reputable and dependable service providers if I am to do my own bookings. I do not want to arrive in some foreign destination and find myself without the reservation I thought I had in place!

Florida Villas

A web release I recently read tells of the services of ThinkFlorida.co.uk, which is a website that has assembled as much information as possible about vacation opportunities in Florida. They can help with airline tickets, theme park tickets, car rentals and more. They can be especially helpful in finding very attractive deals on lodgings for your vacation. And not just in a motel or hotel, but in a condo, town house or private pool homes. Florida Villas, might seem at first thought to be too costly, but there are some very reasonable rates that can compete with the price of the motels, while offering a lot of amenities that cannot be matched in a hotel or motel!

Peregrine.com

One of my favorite bloggers has moved one of her blogs from blogspot.com to its own domain. Her travel journal is now Peregrine.com. As a result of the migration, the page rank has reverted back to 0. It is a great place to get travel tips and descriptions of intriguing places in the world. I hope this will help you stay in touch with her and keep you in the know about her journeys .

Paris

My wife has always wanted to go to France, especially to the City of Lights, Paris. In November she is having her 60th birthday. I am taking her as a gift and to celebrate our 40 years together. We have made Bed and breakfast paris accommodations that will be comfortable and romantic for two old lovers.

Air Evac

I love to travel and see the sights. But the older I get the more I think about things like what would happen if I got sick or hurt badly while away from home. I live only a few miles from some of the greatest hospitals in the world, in the Medical Center of Houston. That’s where I want to be taken if I am at risk with my health.

Perhaps that’s why I was so taken with information about the possibility of air evac using the air ambulance service provided by Aerocare. They provide 24-hour emergency or non-emergency service all over the world. They have highly skilled flight crews and are dedicated to treating each of their patients as if they were their family members.

Cruise

Two of our grandsons live with us. They are six and seven year old boys. Yesterday, they left for a summer visit with their aunt in Singapore. That means my wife and I have a bit of a respite, and we are ready for a vacation. And I can’t think of a better way to get some relaxation than on a cruise.

Holiday Hypermarket.co.uk has a wide assortment of cruise lines and cruise packages available at reasonable prices. All we need to do is to select the place we want to go, then let holiday hypermarket help make the arrangements.
